The DLV-A3 auxiliary valve is an actuated non-return valve that is installed in the pressure line between the lift's mechanical or electronic control valve and the lift in order to fulfil the A3 function.
The application corresponds to EN81-2:2010 9.13.3 2nd paragraph: "If two electrically actuated hydraulic valves connected in series are used for this purpose, the self-monitoring includes a test of the correct opening and closing of the brake or a test of the correct opening or closing of each valve with the static pressure when the lift cart is empty. If a fault is detected, the next operational start of the lift will be prevented".
