Fermator door control VF5+ - now available again from stock

 In the early 90s, Fermator was the first manufacturer of lift doors to introduce a door control unit for regulating the door motor. At that time, doors were still controlled simply by mechanics and limit switches. This product was called Fermator VVVF. 

Over the years, successor models were developed accordingly. The VVVF2, 3, 4, 4+ and with version 5 the name was shortened - VF5. The VF5+ controller is the dominant product in service and repair. The simple reason for this is that the VF5+ is downward compatible with all lower numbers and can operate both the old 3-phase motors and the modern permanent magnet motors. The operation and set-up is kept quite simple. Three potentiometers, four dip switches and two buttons are all that is needed in most cases. A detailed label provides information on connection and setting options.
